A senior official of the Department of Justice met with Jeffrey Epstein Associate Ghislaine Maxwell for six hours on Thursday in Tallahassee, Florida.
The meeting between the attached attorney general Todd Blanche and Maxwell occurred at the Tallahassee Center at the United States Prosecutor’s Office, which is within the Federal Court, sources familiar with the matter said.
Maxwell was sentenced for sex trafficking and other positions and sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022. She is serving her sentence in a federal prison in Tallahassee.
Maxwell’s appeal lawyer, David O. Markus, said after the meeting, Maxwell, “he replied all the questions and answered them honestly.”
Markus said there were “many questions and we went all day and she answered each of them.” He refused to say if there would be a follow -up meeting.
He also refused to describe the questions Blanche asked, but said he and Maxwell were “grateful” for the meeting.
Blanche arrived at the Federal Court around 9 am et. He shook his head and said “no” when asked if he had something to say before his sitting with Maxwell.

The Department of Justice said earlier this week that the meeting between Blanche and Maxwell would happen “in the next few days.”
“President Trump has told us that we will release all credible evidence. If Ghislaine Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against the victims, the FBI and the DOJ will listen to what he has to say,” Blanche said in the statement Posted by Attorney General Pam Bondi in X earlier this week.
Maxwell’s lawyer confirmed earlier this week that they were in conversations with the government about the visit, saying in a statement that “Ghislaine will always testify sincerely.”

Separately, on Wednesday, the president of the Chamber’s Supervision Committee, James Eat, issued a citation for Maxwell to take a statement in the prison on August 11.
“The facts and circumstances surrounding the cases of their and Mr. Epstein have received an immense public interest and scrutiny,” he wrote in a statement on Wednesday.
