The camera led by Republicans approves the draft Law of the Trump Agenda by a single vote

After weeks of internal dispute of the Republican Party, the Chamber led by the Republicans at dawn on Thursday approved the “Big Big Beautiful Bill Law”, criticism of advancing in the tax and immigration agenda of President Donald Trump.

A smiling speaker Mike Johnson announced the massive measure approved by a single vote, 215-214, and was received with applause. He had struggled to do so, as he had promised, on the day of the fallen, before the legislators go out to the break.

The radical package of tax cuts, the Medicaid reform and immigration expenditure offers many of the president’s national campaign promises.

After the debate that extended on Wednesday throughout the night and until Thursday morning, the vote was a triumphal moment for Johnson, who conquered acute divisions between his conference “through a lot of prayer” in the midst of a historically low majority of 3 votes.

“The bill causes Americans to win again, and it has been a long time,” Johnson proclaimed during his speech on the floor moments before the final vote. “It is literally again in the morning in the United States, isn’t it?”

Trump celebrated the approval of what he called “the only, great and beautiful bill” in a publication on social networks, qualifying it as “more significant legislation that will be signed in the history of our country!”

He said he fulfilled his campaign promise of “without taxes on advice and without tax on extra hours.” He also recognized fiscal deductions when consumers buy a vehicle made by the United States, financing for the Golden Dome Defense System and the “Trump Savings Accounts” incorporated into the legislation.

“Great work by the speaker Mike Johnson, and the leadership of the camera, and thanks to all the Republicans who voted yes about this project of historical law!” Trump wrote.

“Now, it’s time for our friends in the United States Senate to get to work, and send this bill to my desk as soon as possible!” Trump added, before hitting the Democrats.

During the final vote of the camera, republican legislators approached the speaker with tights of congratulations and slapped. Someone also played “We are the Champions” of Queen out of a phone for about 10 seconds while the vote was running.

The Republicans cheered, whistled and applauded when the threshold was achieved for the passage at 6:54 am

The successful vote, with a republican legislator voting present, sends the Senate Reconciliation Law, where the Republican majority is expected to review the legislation during the next month or length

Two Republicans of the House of Representatives, Thomas Massie de Kentucky and Warren Davidson de Ohio, opposed the vote along with all the democratic chaucus of the Chamber. The representative Andy Harris, the president of the Caucus of the Freedom of the Chamber, voted present.

Johnson took a return of the victory after the vote, celebrating a press conference along with his leadership team and committee presidents, after the Republicans achieved the unlikely and approved the president’s legislative package of the president.

“It is finally the morning in America again,” Johnson smiled as he repeated his previous comment. “The media and the Democrats have constantly ruled out any possibility that the Republicans of the House of Representatives can obtain these things. After a marathon audience that ended overnight, the Chamber Rules Committee voted 8-4 to take action on the camera.

The slow march to the passage occurs after Trump met with the president of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, and the members of the Freedom Caucus of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, with the aim of underpinning support for the bill.

That meeting occurred after the previous negotiations with hard phrases collapsed on Tuesday. The Republican party is far from unified around the bill, which had previously said they hoped to move on to a vote on Wednesday. Several conflict points, mainly with respect to Medicaid’s work requirements and a state and local tax deductions limit, must still be resolved.

After the meeting, the White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, said: “The meeting was productive and moved the ball in the right direction. The president reiterated how critic it is for the country to approve the great bill as quickly as possible.”

Cleaning the camera is just the first obstacle to the bill: you will also have to approve a meeting with a republican Senate conference that is already telegraphing that they plan to make changes.

These are the main changes in the bill in the amendment of 42 pages:

Disease insurance: The start date for the new medical work requirements will now become “no later than December 31, 2026”. The original bill had the work requirements from 2029.

This alteration is a victory for intransigent who for days have been pressing so that the most pronounced expenses cuts are included in the package. Medicaid’s work requirements are expected to reduce spending on the bill.

There is also a new incentive so that states do not expand Medicaid. Medicaid expansion states are increasing state -led payments to 110% to maintain the structure.

State and local tax deductions: Salt deduction increases to $ 40,000 for revenues below $ 500,000. This is a substantive change of the $ 10,000 limit that was implemented by Republicans in the 2017 tax and job reduction law.

This is a concession oriented to blue state Republicans in states such as New York and California. Many of them conditioned their support to the package on the lifting or elevation of the limit of these deductions. The moderates will qualify it as a great victory.

Maga savings account: The amendment changes the names of these accounts. Instead Maga, they will now be called “Trump” accounts. The president’s last name appears in the amendment of the manager +50 times.

Accelerated cuts to clean energy loans: Some of the clean energy prosecutors of the Biden era will be eliminated before, allowing Republicans to recover costs to apply to the total cost of the invoice. To receive credits, the new projects must begin within 60 days or be “placed in service” by the end of 2028.

Billions of border security reimbursements: The National Security Department appropriates $ 12 billion for the states of the costs associated with the border actions of the Biden era until September 30, 2029. The DHS secretary can authorize subsidies to help with the application of the Immigration Law.

The silencer tax ends: The amendment of the manager delists the silencers of the National Law of Firearms, effectively ending a tax on the transfer of silencers.
