Firefighters were fighting a fire in a Chevron refinery in southern California on Thursday night, authorities said, after a mass fire ball burst into the facilities.
It was not clear immediately what the fire caused, which was burning in the second, a city in Los Angeles County. Nor was it clear immediately if there was any injury.

Governor Gavin Newsom was informed about the fire, said his office.
“Our office is coordinating in real time with local and state agencies to protect the surrounding community and guarantee public safety,” said the office in A statement.
