Prostate cancer is the most common cancer and the second cause of cancer death among men in the United States, according to National Health Institutes (NIH).
It is estimated that this year 313,780 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed, representing 15.4% of all cases of new cancer, with an estimate of 35,770 deaths from prostate cancer this year, which represents 5.8% of all cancer deaths, according to the NIH.
