President Donald Trump delivered comments in the Pentagon that commemorates the 24th anniversary of September 11 attacks against the United States.
“On that fateful day, the wild monsters attacked the symbols of our civilization. However, here in Virginia and in New York and in the heavens about Pennsylvania, the Americans did not hesitate,” Trump said. “They stood up and showed the world that we will never give in. We will never fold ourselves. We will never give up. And our great American flag will never fail.”

Trump told personal stories of heroes and victims of attacks, saying: “That day we learned that the American heroic spirit was around us.”
The president also issued a warning that anyone who attacks the United States
“In the following years, the United States warriors come to the fallen and send an unmistakable message to each enemy of the world,” Trump said. “If you attack the United States of America, we will hunt and find you. Go for all this sometimes magnificent land. We will crush you mercilessly. And we will succeed without a doubt. That is why we call the former Department of Defense of the Department of War.”
