London – At least six people were shot dead at Jerusalem Ramot on Monday, the Israeli police and emergency services said.
Two suspects were also shot dead at the scene, police said in a statement.
The attackers opened fire against the people waiting in a bus tank, police said, before boarding a bus to continue the attack.
At least 17 people were also injured in the shooting, said Israeli emergency services.

When visiting the scene, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “We are at war, a fierce war on terrorism on several fronts,” according to a reading published by his office.
“We are fighting terrorism: the Hutis terrorist regime, Iran that supports everyone, in Gaza, Lebanon, Hezbollah, in all sectors,” said the prime minister. “We are not leaving up and we will not leave it. We are nailing our actions and we will achieve all our goals.”
“Now we are chasing and surrounding the peoples of which the murderers came,” Netyahu said. “We will catch all who helped them, all who sent them.”
