McConnell to face the constituents as republican legislators listen to the contentious crowds in the municipalities

Republican senator Mitch McConnell for a long time will face Kentucky on Thursday while Republican legislators continue to face hostile crowds posing problems with President Donald Trump’s policies.

The leadership of the party has advised to celebrate events in person after some legislators faced volatile crowds in their districts and questions about cuts to Medicaid and Social Security, Trump’s tariffs and their deportation policy.

McConnell announced in February that he would not look for an eighth mandate in the Senate. He resigned from his role as the party leader last year after an 18 -year record at the top of the Republican Conference.

Since he finished his mandate as a leader, McConnell has been one of the few Republican senators willing to challenge Trump. He has voted against Trump’s cabinet nominees and criticized Trump in his tariff policy, his efforts in the electoral reform and maintaining direct negotiations with Russia to end the war in Ukraine.

He will speak on Thursday to the Rotary Club of Glasgow-Barren County.

The angry constituents have faced Republican legislators who chose to celebrate municipalities in person this week.

The Senator of the Republican Party Charles Grassley faced a controversial crowd on Tuesday in Iowa, who shook it with questions about Trump’s rates and deportation policies and the Efficient Department of the Government of Elon Musk that reduces federal agencies.

The same day, Republican representative Brian Mast faced the angry constituents who pressed him on the actions of application of immigration and the possible cuts to social security in three municipalities he had in his district of Florida. A fight broke out at the audience in an event before security broke it.

On Tuesday night, two protesters were compensated by the police and others were escorted after they interrupted a City Council in the hands of the Republican Party Marjorie Taylor Greene, one of Trump’s strongest supporters.
